GMass vs Lemlist

This is close to the widest capability gap of any pair on the site. Lemlist runs multichannel sequences across email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS with a 650M+ lead database behind it, at $69/mo. GMass sends mail merge campaigns from your Gmail window at $29.95. If you are comparing them seriously, the real question is whether you need a sales engagement platform or a better send button.

Hands-on field test

In progress

We plan to run identical 200-contact campaigns from freshly warmed mailboxes on each platform (same copy, same sending window, same domains) and measure inbox-placement rate via seed tests, plus bounce and reply rates. Until that runs we quote no deliverability figures.

The verdict

Lemlist is the far more capable product and priced accordingly — more than double GMass on monthly billing, and per user on its multichannel plan. It earns that only if you will actually use LinkedIn steps, personalisation and the built-in database. GMass does one job, does it inside an interface you already know, and costs $20/mo if you commit annually. Neither is a substitute for the other.

Choose GMass if your outreach is email-only, low-volume, and run from Gmail — paying for multichannel you will not use is the more common mistake. Choose Lemlist if your outbound wins on relevance and multiple touchpoints, or you would otherwise buy a lead database separately.

GMass vs Lemlist: FAQs

Does GMass do LinkedIn outreach?
No. GMass is email only, inside Gmail. Lemlist covers email, LinkedIn, calls and SMS in one sequence builder — that is the main thing the price difference buys.
Which includes email warmup?
Neither cleanly. Lemlist offers warmup as a paid add-on (lemwarm) rather than including it, and we found no documented warmup feature for GMass. If bundled warmup matters, QuickMail and Mailshake both include it on every plan.
How big is the price gap really?
Lemlist is $69/mo monthly, $55/mo billed annually, and its multichannel plan is priced per user. GMass is $29.95/mo monthly or $20/mo billed annually. So roughly double at the entry point, and wider as team size grows.
Which can I evaluate more easily?
GMass — no card, no signup form, just the extension. Lemlist offers a 14-day trial that also needs no credit card, so both are testable, but GMass has essentially no friction at all.
